Three men pleaded guilty to second-degree gang assault for their roles in a violent attack in Kingston that left a victim with serious and permanent injuries, the Ulster County District Attorney's Office announced.

Aalajah Deloatch-Williams, Daivon Ramirez-Jackson and Le'Mar Thomas pleaded guilty to the top charge in the indictment on the morning their trial was set to begin.

Prosecutors said the attack happened May 5, 2025, at Sheehan Court in Kingston. The victim was walking home from work when the defendants attacked him from behind, beat him and left him motionless on the ground.

Kingston police responded and investigated the assault. Detectives identified and arrested the three defendants.

An Ulster County grand jury charged four people with second-degree gang assault, a Class C violent felony. Prosecutors said a fourth person charged in the assault remains at large and is being sought by law enforcement.
