A beloved music festival makes its annual return to the Hudson Valley this weekend with a focus on the environment. The Hudson River Music Festival was founded by legendary folk singer, the late Pete Seeger and his wife. The event has been taking place at Croton Point Park since 1978 when it was called The Clearwater Festival, and it’s one of the oldest music and environmental festivals in the country.
In addition to multiple music performances on three different stages, there will be strong environmental themes with the Hudson River as a main focus. The family-friendly event has various venders, food, activities and more.
Twenty different musical acts will perform throughout the day including headliners Jesse Welles, Warren Haynes, Grahame Lesh & Daniel Donato.
