A Bavarian bash took over downtown White Plains on Sunday as Oktoberfest returned to the city.

Thousands enjoyed German beers, authentic folk music and seasonal Bavarian food while several downtown streets were transformed into a sprawling festival.

New this year was an Oktoberfest Alpine Village, giving kids their own place to join in the celebration.
