Over 40 cats rescued from a hoarding house in Greenburgh have been adopted, according to the Westchester SPCA.
"It was pretty bad. There was a very strong smell, very cluttered, not the best environment for any living thing to be in," said animal care specialist Andrew Wolf.
Many of the cats were sick and needed extensive medical care at the SPCA’s Briarcliff Facility.
After months of treatment and rehab, many started getting adopted. Officials confirmed on Wednesday that the final two cats found new homes.
