A Port Chester man has been convicted on multiple felony charges involving the abuse of a child and an attempt to influence the case.
The Westchester County District Attorney’s Office says a jury found 56-year-old Segundo Pucha-Carchi guilty of course of sexual conduct against a child, bribing and tampering with a witness, and criminal contempt.
Prosecutors say the case stems from incidents that happened between December 2023 and October 2024.
Authorities say Pucha-Carchi repeatedly engaged in sexual conduct with a 12-year-old during that time.
After his arrest, officials say he attempted to bribe the child in an effort to influence their testimony.
Pucha-Carchi is currently being held at the Westchester County Jail.
He is scheduled to be sentenced in August and faces up to 32 years in state prison.
