From Washington D.C. to the Hudson Valley, every decision, action and policy move is impacting your lives every day.
This weekend on Power & Politics, Rep. George Latimer joins the show to discuss the biggest headlines right now.
He weighs in on the conflict in the Middle East with Iran, gas prices, affordability, the ongoing fight over funding for Homeland Security, the midterms, Indian Point and more.
"Because this Congress has really focused, sort of mirroring everything that Donald Trump has wanted to do, we've had a lot of bills come before us that are symbolic because those issues motivate the Republican base," Latimer said. "We've got a lot of concrete legislative things we can do. Those bills are getting no attention while we're debating whether Amreica should go into another country and make regime changes, so I hope that if we're not going to do it in this term, if I do have a second term, that we'll have a House of Representatives that's ready to deal with some of these issues and show legislative advancement."
