A cyclist is in critical condition after a crash involving a pickup truck in Putnam County.
The crash happened Sunday near Route 9 and Horton Road in Philipstown.
Authorities say a bicycle and a pickup truck collided at the intersection.
The cyclist, identified as 61-year-old Nelson Guerrero of Cortlandt Manor, was seriously injured.
He was airlifted to a hospital for treatment.
Deputies say the driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene.
The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office is investigating what led to the crash.
