A man is dead after what authorities are calling a freak accident in Putnam County.
The incident happened Sunday night on Cornwall Hill Road in Patterson.
The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office says a heavy piece of farm equipment fell over, killing 27-year-old Tyler Pfister.
Officials say the incident appears to be accidental and is not considered suspicious.
The investigation remains ongoing.
