A Haverstraw man is facing multiple charges after police say officers found him with a loaded firearm following a Saturday night foot chase on Route 9W.

Detectives say 20-year-old Rinoe Mitchell fought with officers during the arrest.

He is also accused of injuring one of the officers in the incident.

Mitchell was being held on bail as of Sunday night.
