A Mahopac man is facing charges for allegedly driving drunk with his kids in the car.
State police say they stopped a vehicle on the Taconic State Parkway in Yorktown Sunday night.
They say the driver, 34-year-old Anthony Mercado, failed field sobriety tests.
Three children, ages 3, 7 and 9 were inside the car.
Mercado was issued traffic tickets.
The kids were released to a sober third party.
