A man is recovering after suffering a medical emergency at Croton Point Park.

Firefighters and EMS crews responded to the park and found the man below the cabins along the Hudson River.

Rescuers set up a rope system and used a basket to carry the man up the hill to awaiting medical personnel.

The man was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Officials say he is expected to recover.
