Police have released new information about the teen hit by a car in Ramapo on Wednesday.

A 19-year-old was riding a scooter when he was struck by a truck Wednesday night near the corner of College Road and Carleton Road in Ramapo.

The teen was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver stayed at the scene and no charges have been filed.

This accident is the latest in a string of crashes in the area, including two last weekend.
