At least one person was seriously injured after a car crashed into a building and struck a pedestrian during a nighttime incident in Spring Valley, police say.

The crash happened just after 8 p.m. at a building located at 13 Ann Street in Rockland County.

Police said the vehicle struck a pedestrian, causing serious injuries.

The injured person was taken for medical care.

Authorities have not said what led to the crash.

Police also have not released the extent of the pedestrian’s injuries.
