Many Rockland residents spent Tuesday clearing snow from the blizzard but people in one area of the county are dealing with more than their neighbors.

News 12 meteorologists say Spring Valley received 19.2 inches of snow. The most in Rockland County. News 12 was there Monday as the weather slammed the area.

A day later and the road conditions are mixed with drivers dealing with lots of slushy snow on Main Street and black top on West Street.

There was heavy machinery used to push snow in parking lots into mountains several feet high.

The Spring Valley mayor tells News 12 he was touring the village on Tuesday helping to manage the snow clearing effort.
