McLean Avenue is also known as the Emerald Mile. So, it's the place to be for St. Patrick's Day.
Which means, a lot of work goes into making sure the day goes smoothly.
"For us, it's St. Patrick's month," said Rory Dolan, the owner of Rory Dolan's Restaurant and Bar.
Rory Dolan's Restaurant and Bar sees thousands of people during the month of March.
"Connecticut, Long Island, New Jersey, you know, Manhattan. We've been here for 33 years," said Dolan.
Dolan says for those celebrating, they will have plenty of Irish cuisine and, of course, your favorite Irish drinks.
"It'll be mostly predominately corned beef and cabbage. Also, we're going to have fish and chips, shepherd's pie, chicken pot pie and beef stew," he said.
News 12 asked what makes celebrating St. Patrick's Day on McLean Avenue so special, and for everyone, it's more than the food.
"The people," said Lisa Bertoncin, of Eastchester. "It's always the people, very warm, very friendly."
"We have people who celebrated St. Patrick's day here for 30 years and we have people who will come tomorrow and it's going to be their first time," said Rory Dolan's store manager, Frida Dolan. "I think we've become pretty good at showing what St. Patrick's day is all about."
Those who are celebrating, should make sure to do so responsibly as there will be increased patrols.
The Yonkers St. Patrick's Day parade is also taking place this Saturday at 1 p.m.
