A water main break causes a wild scene in Yonkers on Monday.

Crews rushed to Riverdale Avenue and Prospect Street after someone saw water pouring through the wall of a vacant building .

Firefighters say more than 8-feet of water ended up in the basement of an old movie theater.

It took hours to pump it out.

Officials say no other buildings were damaged.
